661 Yonge street, purchased by the current owner in 2014 was once home to many small tenants and various service related office users. At one point in its history, it is believed that 661 Yonge street housed more than 20 different tenants at one time. From 2001 until 2012, 661 Yonge street housed the Canadian head office for Flight Centers Canada. 

From 2014, a careful mix of time and money were invested in the property to bring well needed upgrades to a building that was built in 1959. Upgrades included: a brand new elevator system, new life safety system, an upgraded electrical system with smart switches and LED lighting, a fully renovated lobby, a rooftop patio, modernized office suites, and other miscellaneous improvements. The current anchor tenant, Canadian Dental Services Corporation, currently occupies 3 floors in the building, and uses one of them as it's Leadership Lab - a place to train its clinicians and other staff.
